America’s Family was founded with the belief that collaboration is the key to lasting change. By uniting public, private, and nonprofit organizations, we create pathways for individuals to overcome obstacles and unlock their potential.
When I founded America’s Family in 2004, I was driven by a simple yet powerful belief: working people should not be poor. Today, 6.4 million hardworking Americans still live in poverty, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Our country stands at a critical moment. There’s a 400,000-person gap in the skilled trades, and the rise of AI is creating an unprecedented opportunity to accelerate training and empower young people to fill these roles faster than ever before.
